Three signs on the body may warn of irreversible liver damage –

It is known that symptoms of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) may not appear early. Experts warned that characteristic signs can develop only when NAFLD develops into cirrhosis, reports with reference to Express.

“This damage is irreversible and can lead to liver failure (when your liver stops working properly) and liver cancer,” said experts at PearTree Medical Center.

Doctors added that there are a total of three signs that signal permanent liver damage has occurred: itchy skin, yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes, swelling of the abdomen, ankles and feet.

Since it can take years for fibrosis or cirrhosis to develop, it is recommended that steps be taken to stop the progression of the disease.

We will remind, earlier reported that experts have revealed three signs on the legs, which they called warning of liver disease.
